Itinerary:

Leaving the Chabad house at 10:15 AM.
An hour and a half drive to the hiking trail.
A relatively easy hour's walk to the cabin.

Sit by the fire and watch the volcano erupt!

Sleep in the cabin

Optional sunrise hike included

Return to the Chabad house around 9-10 AM

What to bring? 🎒

  • Lots of warm layers!! (At least 3, we're not kidding, it's really cold)

  • Backpack

  • Copy of your passport

A trip out is available when:
7 travelers minimum and 8 maximum for one car. Up to 7 cars are allowed.

Please note: Trips only leave from Sunday through Thursday, no trips on Friday, check to see if there is a trip on Saturday night 🙏​

Acatenango Jeep Experience
Take a jeep up to Acatenango and spend the night watching Volcan Fuego erupt under the stars 🌋and the breathtaking sunrise! The Jeep tour cuts the 6-8 hike into a 45-minute walk and allows you to meet your friends at the top!
